The plant produces electronic components: etched foils, DC medium & high voltage anode foils and AC Motorstart anode foils. These products are made with advanced technologies, which are regularly updated to make sure that SATMA INDUSTRIES meets the highest international standards of performance and quality.

SATMA INDUSTRIES has acquired a high level of know-how in this specific field. R&D is managed internally in SATMA INDUSTRIES’ laboratories with the objective to improve and develop new product always closer to customers' needs. Our R&D staff are highly qualified & continious improvement of their skills is an important priority.

The facility is located in Goncelin, a one and a half hour drive from international airports such as Lyon Saint-Exupery or Geneva Cointrin. The premises, located on 70000 m² is halfway between Chambéry and Grenoble, a beautiful area in the heart of the French Alps, famous for its numerous ski resorts.

But the main purpose of this location is the hydroelectric power facilities nearby providing low cost electricity.

Our activity is a power intensive energy industry. The factory works 24/7 manufacturing premium anode foils using 99.99% pure aluminium foil for electrolytic capacitor applications. Aluminium foil is etched, formed and slit to capacitor manufacturers' specifications.
